This consists of areas of; mixed woodland, grassy meadows, lakes and ponds, hillside grasslands, footpaths and tracks.

The site links in with the Teversal trail to the south and can be reached along this trail by foot or cycle.

At present there is a dedicated public car park and good signage for the site but there are no toilets or refreshment facilities.

Some paths are wide and grit covered with slight inclines, other paths are narrow and sometimes muddy.
