Our budding moth expert Caron Stubbs has had some of her photographs included in a book, by Chris Manley, titled British Moths and Butterflies. Well done Caron!
The new book is due out in November this year, published by A & C Black/Christopher Helm.
It illustrates and describes over 850 macros, 500 micros, 74 butterflies, 315 caterpillars, plus 50 other winged insects that are not lepidoptera, by around 50 photographers. Includes foodplant/species list.
All 2250 photos of live insects, covering over 400 pages 240 x 170 mm.
Alan Titchmarsh has kindly written a foreword describing the book as 'Sensational'.

SPRINGWATCH VISITS PLEASLEY!
On Sunday 6th April the site was visited by Gordon Buchanan from the BBC's Springwatch programme. He spent the day filming our beautiful Skylarks, and the footage will hopefully be included in the programme, broadcast during May.
