Throughout the year we hold a variety of walks, talks, and special events open to members and non-members.

You are more than welcome to join us on these activities and they usually provide an informative and fun time for everyone. Some are run in conjunction with other community organisations and others are run by the group themselves.

Please note that good sturdy footwear is usually a good idea as well as some warm clothes and a rain proof in case of a change in the weather. Refreshments are not always provided so it is best to check before individual activities what to bring with you.

Disabled access is sometimes possible depending on the walk or event.This also applies to pushcahirs. Please contact us if you unsure and we can advise.

Many paths are wide, although they have loose stones as a surface and are inclined in some places.

There is normally no charge for an event although there may be the opportunity to donate if you feel inclined.

This list is correct at time of press but it is always sensible to check an event is still running before you travel. Unless the weather is going to cause health and safety implications the event will run despite the rain!
